Organic vegetable plot design and creation

Everyone should know the pleasure of growing and eating their own vegetables and fruit. There is no simpler or more delicious connection between us and the power of nature to sustain us. From a practical standpoint, with the recent coronavirus pandemic, many of us realised just how dependent we are on supermarkets and the commercial food chain, with unprecedented sales of vegetable seeds and plants that people could grow in their own gardens.

If you have a desire to grow more food in your garden, I have twenty years of experience growing organic vegetables on allotments and in cottage gardens. My vegetable plot design and creation service includes:

Example of an allotment in need...

Traditionally, allotments come up for grabs in the autumn, and hopefully some of you on the long waiting lists will be getting your chance at growing your own for 2022.

Some plots can seem very daunting when you first take them on, rife with annual weeds and poor soil needing some life. Here are some images of an allotment plot we started work on in October 2020 with before and after shots of how it looked in mid-summer. We removed all the weed growth with no weedkillers used, added raised beds and wood chip paths complete with weed control matting.

If you need someone to get your allotment ship-shape and ready for spring planting, contact Gaia gardening for a quote.

I pride myself in working where I live, in and around Market Deeping and the surrounding villages and the majority of my work is on recommendation so you can trust me as a fully insured professional who respects your property and privacy. As a member of the local community I work hard to gain a good reputation and aim to please my clients 100% of the time.

I will aim to be with you on the confirmed days and times agreed, however due to the vagaries of the British weather sometimes this is not possible and I will attend your property as close to the agreed time as I can. If I am unable to attend I will ring ahead to discuss the next convenient day and time or we can discuss the possibility of flexible access to your property if this is preferred.
